Red Bull Augmented Reality Tour
Red Bull is undoubtedly one of the strongest marketing oriented brands in the world. However it’s facing another challenge, which is the question of how to present their activities in trade marketing - at points of sale. Because often, just up there, among the shelves of goods, makes the customer his decision which product he will buy. The decisive factors are of course the price, brand awareness and many others, but just well chosen and performed activities can significantly affect these decisions.
We designed an amazing atmosphere of motor sports in fifteen stops in the largest retail chains around Czech Republic. The primary objective was to support a launch of a new game for smartphones based on "augmented reality" - Red Bull Augmented. Due to the small penetration of smart phones in the Czech market we also brought classic racing simulators to make the possibilities of introducing Red Bull’s activities to the customers even wider. Everyone could try how he feels behind the wheel – in a role of famous racers. Therefore we achieved the desired goal - customer identification with the brand. This immediately reflected in the sales, which rose by hundreds of per cents during the promotion, but we also gain many loyal customers for which sometimes means even more.
